System Groups

Administrators Used in section formula for Solicitors, litigation peiod, Administration section in matter details. Only members of this group can see the Administration section in client details and matter details

Accounts Members of this group can:
          • Re open closed matters
          • edit Job slips that have been billed
          • Change the client for an existing matter
          • General notification or error messages generated by agents in merges.nsf


[All users] A Group of all users (people) who are to create and edit documents. The group must be created, and the name specfied as the ReadersGroup in the User Profile document (under the Administration section)

DocReaders Those users who are able to see and edit documents the subject of Legal Notes Security

Solicitors A group used by Legal Notes Security.

RespSol A group used by Legal Notes Security.

CreateMatters People Authorised to create matters

CreateClients People Authorised to create clients

CloseMatters People authorised to close matters, and edit closed matter details (Closed file number and date closed). This group is accessed by the Close Matter action in the matter details form to determin who is authorised to close matters.


See also User Profile in Legal Notes (lookup.nsf). There is a section to specify those persons are to receive requests for new clients and matters.
