Matter

Overview
A matter an instruction to provide a legal service. More particularly, it is the file created to retain all documents and other information relating to that instruction or matter.

The Matter number is the primary reference tool in Legal Notes. All documents must contain a matter number.

The Matter field is the hub of Legal Notes. No document can be created without one. For a matter to exist in Legal Notes, it must have a Matter details document
